Jerzy Ludwi\u0144ski Archive in Wroc\u0142aw Contemporary Museum is a permanent exposition-research space, which combines elements of an exhibition, archive and art warehouse. This triple structure conforms to the main role of the Archive, that is presenting Jerzy Ludwi\u0144ski\u2019s intellectual legacy and its significance for the formation of both Wroclaw and Polish artistic scene at the turn of 1960\u2019s and 1970\u2019s.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Based on the selection of works and materials collected by the Zach\u0119ta Lower Silesian Fine Arts Association and Wroc\u0142aw Contemporary Museum, the Archive is a place which reflect the process related to the search of institution\u2019s identity as regards the avant-garde art area.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

His critique and reflection, included in texts and opinions, was consistently built based on the notion applied by him \u2013 the notion of the creative process which prevails over the artistic object, and on researching and describing the incessant art evolution. Against this background, the Archive highlights the attitudes and works of artists directly associated with Ludwi\u0144ski active in that period, as well as specific references in contemporary artistic discourse.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
