Education, Wihout barriers
(Wednesday), 6.00–8.00 PM, admission free
During the workshop, we will look at Piotr Kurka’s installation entitled Ceremonies (Creatures) and subject the work to analysis using various cognitive possibilities of our senses. We will exclude sight from the artistic experience in order to make the aesthetic impression much more intense.
Sensory integration workshops are a cycle that makes it possible to experience contemporary art through sound, touch and other non-visual senses.
In connection with the permanent exhibition Private Mythologies. Marta’s Birthday, which features works from the MWW international collection of contemporary art, we have planned a series of meetings dedicated to the material dimension of the works as well as the sound and spatial aspect of the exhibition itself. We will create a personal sensory collection through an in-depth analysis of selected works.
Led by: Anna Krukowska and Małgorzata Rzerzycha-Myśliwy.
The exhibition entitled Private Mythologies. Marta’s Birthday has been co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The purchase of works was co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund under the National Contemporary Art Collections programme.
