We would like to invite all seniors to afternoon meetings with contemporary art. The two-hour classes will include a tour of the exhibition and an exchange of opinions over a cup of tea.
We will spend the last meeting before the summer break at the exhibition of photographs by Gordon Parks, an artist who turned his camera into a tool of social change. During the interactive tour we will discover Parks’ colourful biography and the stories hidden behind the frames. The starting point for a discussion about the potential of photography will be the socio-political situation in the USA in the 1960s and the different faces of engaged photography.
