Every Sunday Family Workshops
— August
–
Education, Children, Families
All parents with their children are welcome to join us each Sunday at 1:30 PM. All workshops take one hour and consist of two parts. First, we visit the up-to-date exhibition together and we talk about the works presented there. During the second part of the workshop we take up manual activities that enable everybody to creatively use their awaken sensitivity and imagination.
6.08.2017 I write down what I see
Do you know what reportage is? Perhaps you are able to find an intriguing subject in the world around us? During the Sunday meeting we will visit the exhibition “Gordon Parks: I Use my Camera as a Weapon”, find out what committed photography is and what characterises a photojournalist. In the practical part we will go for a walk in search of reportage subjects and see how many interesting things are going on around us.
13.08.2017 The flecked human
Why do many women paint their faces with different colours each morning? What are the true colours of people? Which colours signify belonging to a group? We will together visit the exhibition “Ewa Axelrad: Shtamah” and see how the artist approaches the subject of adopting different colours in her works. In the practical part we will make “the flecked human” – perhaps somebody will dare to personally find out what it means to be multicoloured?
Detailed information about August’s workshop will be revealed soon.
All the workshops are free, but please register via: edukacja@muzeumwspolczesne.pl
