Education, Children, Families
During the winter holidays, we warmly invite you to a series of four educational and artistic workshops for children aged 6–12 with their parents or guardians.
description of the series of workshops:
During four workshops revolving around the exhibition Private Mythologies. Marta’s Birthday, we will breathe life into the items that are presented at the exhibition. We will focus our attention on clothes, trying to imagine their owners and situations in which they could be used. During the workshop activities, we will move back in time to see the meaning and role of clothing in various life situations. In each workshop we will prepare and record a short film etude on a selected piece of clothing. Styles, textures, small imperfections, spots and dirt will prove to be a great starting point for us to tell our own imaginary story. Together, we will consider whether our outfits can store important information about ourselves. What would they “say” about us if we presented them at an exhibition?
