Noises, symphonies, symbols. Sensual workshops 31.05.17 (środa), godz. 18:00, przestrzeń wystawy, poziom 3 (Wednesday), 6 PM, exhibition space on 3rd floor

“Black Spring” is the title of not only Antoni Słonimski’s poem, but also of the newest exhibition on show at Wrocław Contemporary Museum. The display is devoted to Wrocław’s independent music scene – an extraordinary cultural and social phenomenon. During the sensual workshop, we will approach the notion of broadly-defined music and sounds as elements used in contemporary art. You are welcome to join us on an audio tour of the exhibition.

Apart from exercises and stories connected with sound art, we are also going to talk about subcultures, Poland’s most recent history and how it affected punk and rock.

As always, we would like to extend our warm invitation to visually-impaired people.

Limited enrolment, please confirm your attendance by sending an email to (by 30.05.17, 12 noon).
