We warmly invite all Seniors to afternoon meetings with contemporary art. The two-hour classes include an active tour of the exhibition and an xchange of reflections over a cup of tea.

As part of this year’s programme Closer to Art. MWW for Seniors, we will focus on the international collection of contemporary art gathered by the museum, which is currently presented at the exhibition Private Mythologies. Marta’s Birthday. During five workshops, we will look at selected contexts of the collection.

During the first meeting we will find out what is hidden under the term “neo-avant-garde” and look for its traces at the exhibition. In the second part of the class, we will talk with Piotr Lisowski, the curator of the exhibition, who will try to answer our questions regarding the collection and the exhibition itself.
