Sunday Family Workshops
— July
07.07.13–28.07.13

All parents with their children are welcome to join us each Sunday at 1:30 PM. All workshops take one hour and consist of two parts. First, we visit the up-to-date exhibition together and we talk about the works presented there. During the second part of the workshop we take up manual activities that enable everybody to creatively use their awaken sensitivity and imagination.

The schedule of activities:

7.7 LUXUS EVENT SHOW

During this workshop we will examine artistic events initiated by LUXUS artists. They could be aimed at good fun or a social protest (sometimes both). We will also consider whether art needs scandals.

14.07 LUXUS MAGAZINE 2013

The LUXUS Group published its own “Luxus Magazine”, dedicated to lightly treated pop culture. With a mix of fascination and mockery the artists put there elements which they associated with luxury from the West. During our workshop we will use elements of contemporary pop culture to create our own luxury magazines.

21.07 SPIDERY INSTALLATIONS

During this workshop we are going to see installations found in different parts of the shelter. We will have a look at different surprising materials used by artists to create their works. Then, with the use of threads and UV light, we will build our own 3D construction.

28.07 PEEP BOX
The workshop devoted to artists’ works deriving from the conceptual art trend. We will see that ideas which hide behind them do not have to be complicated at all. In the second part of the workshop we will develop our own conceptual works.

All the workshops are free, but please register via: edukacja@muzeumwspolczesne.pl
