We invite children from 4 to 11 years old and their parents to visit us on three Sundays of December (2 and 16.12) at 1.30 PM.
The workshops last 90 min and consist of two parts. At the beginning we all visit an exhibition that is currently showing at MWW and discuss the featured works. After that we move on to the manual part, which is intended to creatively use the aroused imagination and sensitivity.
Programme of Sunday Family Workshops
– December 2018:

Who does not like birthday and the related rituals? Is it possible to celebrate birthday in a museum and what can it look like? How do we remember great artists? During the workshops, we will look at birthday customs, both personal and institutional, and we will assume the perspective of a guest and the host. Inspired by the exhibition Meditations of Fibonacci + The Corduroy Bunny | facing Katarzyna Kobro (1898–1951), we will create presents for ourselves. There will also be artistic sweets for the youngest participants.
The workshop includes a visit to the exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Natalia Gołubowska.
Christmas is just around the corner … and on this occasion the Sunday workshop will turn into a Christmas decorations factory. Together, we will make Christmas wishes, talk about Christmas traditions at our homes and find out about customs connected with this festival in different countries. Inspired by the artworks in our museum, during the workshop we will also create contemporary, artistic Christmas decorations.
The workshop will be conducted by Anna Nowak.
