We invite children from 4 to 11 years old and their parents to visit us on two Sundays of January (20 and 27.01) at 1.30 PM.
The workshops last 90 min and consist of two parts. At the beginning we all visit an exhibition that is currently showing at MWW and discuss the featured works. After that we move on to the manual part, which is intended to creatively use the aroused imagination and sensitivity.
Programme of Sunday Family Workshops
– January 2019:
20.01.2019 LIQUID BEAUTY
The workshop will be based on the Marcin Płonka’s exhibition titled Topiel.
During the meeting we will creatively address the word topiel in the context of Marcin Płonka’s photography. The term, which can be defined as boggy wetlands, rough, foaming waters or damp patches, will become our starting point for creating a painterly landscape.
The workshop includes a visit to the exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Agata Iżykowska-Uszczyk.
27.01.2019 CLOSED IN A BOTTLE
The workshop will be inspired by the work titled De Facto, which is featured in Ella Littwitz’s exhibition And Waters Became Wormwood. In the practical part, we will make an original bottle by turning a plastic container into a glass one, and then we will paint on glass.
The workshop includes a visit to the exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Natalia Gołubowska.
Detailed information about the subjects of future meetings will follow soon.
All the workshops are free,
