Education, Children, Families
1.30 pm, 1st floor, free admission, obligatory registration via email before workshops
We invite children from 4 to 11 years old and their parents to visit us on three Sundays of February (3, 10 and 24.02) at 1.30 PM.
The workshops last 90 min and consist of two parts. At the beginning we all visit an exhibition that is currently showing at MWW and discuss the featured works. After that we move on to the manual part, which is intended to creatively use the aroused imagination and sensitivity.
Programme of Sunday Family Workshops
– February 2019:
3.02.2019 MODELLED
During the meeting, we will take a look at Katarzyna Kobro’s works shown in the exhibition Meditations of Fibonacci + The Corduroy bunny and see how she inspired other artists. Later we will use the findings to make our own works from modelling clay or plasticine.
The workshop includes a visit to the exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Natalia Gołubowska.
10.02.2019 ANTHILL
The participants will cooperate like ants to prepare a small work of art. Inspired by Marcin Płonka’s Topiel, they will breathe life into their own colony of insects.
The workshop includes a visit to the exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Justyna Oleksy.
24.02.2019 NETWORK OF RELATIONS
February will be the time to take stock of our feelings. Inspired by Beata Stankiewicz-Szczerbik’s exhibition Superpositions, we will penetrate the heart – both our own and the artist’s. Together we will look for creative connections to build a network of hearts beating in unison.
The workshop includes a visit to the exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Anna Nowak.
Detailed information about the subjects of future meetings will follow soon.
All the workshops are free,
