1.30 pm, 1st floor, free admission, obligatory registration via email before workshops
We invite children from 4 to 11 years old and their parents to visit us on three Sundays of April (7, 14 and 28.04) at 1.30 PM.
The workshops last 90 min and consist of two parts. At the beginning we all visit an exhibition that is currently showing at MWW and discuss the featured works. After that we move on to the manual part, which is intended to creatively use the aroused imagination and sensitivity.
Programme of Sunday Family Workshops
– April 2019:
7.04.2019 A PLACE TO SLEEP
What is remembered and what is forgotten from dreams? We invite you to a challenge for the whole family in which we will reconstruct our recent dreams and materialise them as surrealistic collages in the space of the Self-Service Museum. Then, in the practical part, we will create albums for our dreams and notes about them.
The workshop includes a visit to the interactive exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Anna Nowak.
14.04.2019 SEVERAL GLANCES
What is a self-portrait? What are the ways of presenting it? What tools enable us to capture it? We will look at the work of Barbara Konopko, an artist who created not one, but Multiple Portrait (presented at the exhibition States of Focus). Will we be able to reproduce the photograph, look at ourselves and preserve this unique image for a long time?
The workshop will be conducted by Agata Iżykowska-Uszczyk.
28.03.2019 PAINTING SUNDAY
The last Sunday of April will take us on a painterly journey through the Museum. Our path will take us to many figurative and non-figurative paintings featured at the exhibition Ignacy Czwartos. The Polish Painter. Total abstraction? This is what we will be looking at.
The workshop includes a visit to the exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Natalia Gołubowska.
Detailed information about the subjects of future meetings will follow soon.
All the workshops are free,
but please register via e-mail:
Please be informed that during the workshops photographs can be taken for the needs of Wrocław Contemporary Museum, which may include the images of people taking part in the classes and images of works made by them.
