We invite children from 4 to 11 years old and their parents, grandmothers or grandfathers to visit us on two Sundays of November (10, 17 and 24.11) at 1.30 PM.

The workshops last 90 min. and consist of two parts. At the beginning we all visit an exhibition that is currently showing at MWW and discuss the featured works. After that we move on to the manual part, which is intended to creatively use the aroused imagination and sensitivity.

17.11.2019 NEW MEANING

The inspiration for the activities during the workshop will be provided by one of the works featured at the Polish Hospitality exhibition. Edyta Kowalewska’s Non-functional Tablecloth is a work consisting of a beautiful and aesthetic table, which, however, couldn’t be used in the traditional way. Together we will enter into a dialogue with the artist’s work, developing designs for dishes that could be put on Kowalewska’s table.

By assuming the role of medieval manuscript illuminators, we will catalogue the most unique and unusual creatures created by our imagination.
