We invite children from 4 to 11 years old and their parents to visit us on three Sundays of March (10, 17 and 31.03) at 1.30 PM.
The workshops last 90 min and consist of two parts. At the beginning we all visit an exhibition that is currently showing at MWW and discuss the featured works. After that we move on to the manual part, which is intended to creatively use the aroused imagination and sensitivity.
Programme of Sunday Family Workshops
– March 2019:

During the meeting, we will look at the work of actors. We will improve our own diction and get to know the traditional Japanese theatre NŌ. The manual activity will be inspired by one of the works presented at the exhibition Beata Stankiewicz-Szczerbik. Superpositions. By creating our own masks, we will consider what characters are enchanted in them and what sounds they could make within the walls of the Museum.
The workshop includes a visit to the exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Justyna Oleksy.
17.03.2019 SLEEPY SUNDAY
Sunday afternoon does not have to be boring! The lazy atmosphere will take us on a journey through the recesses of dreams and memories. We will illustrate a surrealistic vision from the inside of our own imagination using the elements of the interactive installation Dreamagining. We will create a hero from our dreams, and then we will think who will meet them on their path.
The workshop includes a visit to the interactive exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Justyna Oleksy.
During the workshop, we will get acquainted with the work of the painter and illustrator Ignacy Czwartos. We will look at the colours, lines and stories hidden both in the paintings at the Polish Painter exhibition and in the illustrations created by the artist for books and magazines.
The workshop includes a visit to the exhibition.
The workshop will be conducted by Natalia Gołubowska.
Detailed information about the subjects of future meetings will follow soon.
All the workshops are free,
