Programme of Sunday Family Workshops
/ September 2021:

3.09.2021 / DESIGN A GADGET WITH MWW! (attention: it’s a Friday and MWW’s 10th birthday!) / 5.00–6.15 PM

location: museum courtyard

Did you know that the Museum has been with us for 10 years already! To mark this occasion, we invite you to design a unique item with the MWW logo, which will show that you are a friend of the Museum. Your designs will be shown on T-shirts, masks or balloons. Together, we will create a birthday visual identity for the Museum!

Workshop led by Ignacy Oboz.

12.09.2021 / MUSEUM OF THE FUTURE / 1.30–3.00 PM

Inspired by the 10th anniversary of MWW, during this special edition of the Sunday Family Workshop we will together come up with a concept and programme for Wrocław Contemporary Museum of the Future. Because the workshop coincides with the Wrocław Senior Days, we warmly invite all Seniors with their families, especially granddaughters and grandsons!

Workshop led by Agata Iżykowska-Uszczyk.

19.09.2021 / BLUE AND RED / 1.30–3.00 PM

During the meeting, we will learn about Zdzisław Jurkiewicz’s work through his paintings, especially those that explore two colours – blue and red. We will then create a series of many painting “occurrences” – short, quick, sometimes multi-layered… Finally, we will find out what story our own paintings have written for us!

Workshop led by Grażyna Kryńska.

Registration via the application form (pl).

Please sign up for the workshops – a maximum of 20 people can participate in the classes on 3 September; the limit for the classes inside the museum is 12 people (max. 5 families).

Please inform us at least three days in advance about resignation from participation in the workshop. This is the only way for participants entered on the reserve list to be able to take part in the workshop.

During the workshop, children are looked after by their parents, who also participate in the workshop activities.

We remind you about the rules in force at the museum due to the pandemic, link to the recommendations page.

Please be informed that during the workshops photographs can be taken for the needs of Wrocław Contemporary Museum, which may include the images of people taking part in the classes and images of works made by them. The photographs will be stored in an internal archive documenting the activities of MWW. They can also be used for promotional purposes on the website www.muzeumwspolczesne.pl and in social media (on websites facebook.com/muzeumwspolczesne, instagram.com/muzeumwspolczesne and youtube.com/muzeumwspolczesne). If you do not agree to have your photographs taken, please inform the person conducting the workshops before they start. Failing to provide such information before the beginning of the class workshop is tantamount to granting Wrocław Contemporary Museum consent to use the photographs as referred to above.
