Dreamagining is an educational game developed by Patrycja Mastej, an artist, designer and educator from Wrocław. The concept is based on an original programme that she has been consistently developing in order to stimulate the visual imagination of the audience.
The app allows the user to build a virtually limitless number of visual narratives on the basis of predefined elements. This interactive collage teaches the ability of active looking, thus awakening visual thinking. Thanks to its unique poetics, it illustrates and tests the basic properties of colour, composition and perspective.
The aim of this creative game is to experiment with the constantly changing identities of objects, depending on the coordinates assigned to them, the choice of adjacent objects and the setting against which we wish to present them. Different background options provide the objects with new meanings. The game also has therapeutic properties. It enables automatic generation and sequencing of abstract images, which corresponds with the behaviour of the brain in the sleep phase.
The game is aimed at almost everyone, in particular children and young people, but also trainers, educators and teachers who work with various age groups.
