Holidays in the city or in the country? How about a luxury resort? You don’t have to choose only one way to spend the summer time. In the penultimate week of summer holiday, we will combine both these possibilities at MWW.

Inspired by the Aspen Magazine: 1965-1971 exhibition, we will recreate the atmosphere of a holiday resort, find a brief respite in the MWW garden, and put up tents in the city while interacting with the Self-service Museum.
A series of holiday activities is aimed at school children (7-12 years old) and will comprise games and exercises intended to acquaint the participants with MWW exhibitions. We will also spend active time in the Art Wastelands, or the museum’s garden, which will become a venue for creative actions. Inspiration will be provided by works displayed at the museum and used to spend the penultimate week of the summer holiday in a creative way. During the workshops we will learn how to introduce greenery to the city in a well-planned way.
