We invite organized groups to take part in our contemporary art workshops. Spring Monday’s workshops will include 12 meetings that will take place in the period from March until June 2013.

Participants can choose from the following topics:
THE NATURE OF STRUCTURE
THE COMMUNICATION OF STRAINS
THE POWER OF GREY
DYNAMIC NARRATION
REBUILDING A PICTURE
THE CITY OF SIGNS

We start workshops with an attractive presentation illustrated with artworks chosen from the collection of The Lower Silesian Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. On this basis the participants get familiar with the particular topics. During the following 60 minutes manual practice takes place that enables understanding of basic fine arts’ concepts in an unobvious way. During the workshops we question the aim of the undertaken artistic actions, but without losing its spontaneus character. We discuss created works and we talk about the creative pathstaken by each particpant. We also build up a vocabulary neccessary for an efficient talk about contemporary art. The effect of creative play are individualized works. Despite being made using the same technique, the participants’ works enable us to see their artistic uniqueness.
