In the fourth installment of the series, we present Kama Sokolnicka’s objects entitled  Realations/Microstatics.

Sokolnicka studied graphic arts and drawing, but her work incorporates a broad spectrum of artistic disciplines and techniques. The Museum of Contemporary Art presents objects making up a multi-element installation composed of photographs, models and sculptures. This formal richness encapsulates the context of relationships and dependencies that is common for the entire project, and analyses them through various interpretative clichés.

Sokolnicka’s figures are further developed in the form of an interactive relief in the exhibition space. The “people” placed on it can be rearranged at will to form groups or separate them from each other. Each arrangement will be another thread interacting with the artist’s work. Your contribution will remain there until the next visitor creates their own dependencies.
