The catalogue devoted to Barbara Kozłowska, published by the Arton Foundation and Wrocław Contemporary Museum, is the first publication summarising the artist’s entire oeuvre. The book contains a detailed calendar of Kozłowska’s activities with illustration, essays on selected problems written by Marika Kuźmicz, Karolina Majewska, Piotr Lisowski and Wiktoria Szczupacka, as well as source texts by or about Kozłowska.

Karolina Majewska, who analysed the artistic practice of Barbara Kozłowska, places it in the context of global conceptualism. Wiktoria Szczupacka focuses on Kozłowska’s cooperation with other artists while creating her works. Piotr Lisowski discusses the environmental aspect in her art, while Marika Kuźmicz describes the artist’s performative strategy, based on exploring her own subjectivity in relation to time and space.

Apart from the authors, the meeting will be attended by professor Zbigniew Makarewicz, Barbara Kozłowska’s husband, long-time artistic partner and guardian of her legacy.
