During our discussions we will take a closer look at examples of such alleged and/or actual lacks. We will think about their genesis and the justness or not of using such a category in a discourse.

The lack often takes its beginning in culture, in imaginations, shaped by a discourse, of what it means to be real, healthy, fulfilled, normal… adequate. The things we are short of, these areas of individual and social life in which we fail – disappointing others first and then ourselves – may, but don’t have to, become the source of discomfort, feeling worse, inadequacy, feeling defective.
