European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016 invites you to the Enrico Floriddia’s final presentation.

Each time we move, travel across space, we need a plan. We need to arrange transport, pack up, imagine what lies ahead – or try to forget the painful memories that may prevent us from making the most of the new chapter. Discovering the history of objects, their origins and uses, often actually tells more about the people.

Enrico Floriddia analysed the written instructions concerning the transport of museum objects. He found an analogy between the journey of things and people. He used the technical text to select words and images that create a peculiar form of “poetry”. We would like to invite you to the artist’s final presentation, which will be an opportunity to not only participate in his experimental, avant-garde performance, but also to learn about Floriddia’s artistic book that he made during his residency in Wrocław.

The project is part of a series of artist residencies held within the A-i-R Wro Artist-in-Residence Programme of European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016.
The A-i-R Wro Artist-in-Residence Programme is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland.
