We offer a specially prepared patch of land near Wrocław Contemporary Museum for cultivation of seasonal vegetables, herbs, flowers, field and ornamental plants.

The land will be available free of charge to anyone who wishes to look after it from spring to autumn. You don’t have to be an experienced gardener. Both amateurs and seasoned allotment holders are welcome. We are counting on the cooperation of project participants and sharing your knowledge.

Inspired by the artist Elżbieta Jabłońska’s idea of “Art Wastelands”, we have decided to join our forces to create a garden that can possibly turn the unused land behind MWW into a place where plants are grown and neighbours can meet at any time.

For all of you wishing to get involved, we have prepared raised beds, a patch for growing herbs,
a foil greenhouse and a composter. We will also provide all the necessary garden implements, technical support and access to drawing water.

The MWW Art Wasteland will also become a venue for workshops on the rudiments of gardening and guerilla gardening. The latter will include, for instance, spreading meadow flora “seed bombs” made by us to different parts of the city.

We would like to invite all of you wishing to take part in the project to an organizational meeting on 12 April 2014 at 12 noon at MWW.

Unwind yourself. Grow a meadow..
