On Sunday, 20 November, at 3 PM, Bogna Świątkowska will guide us through the “Labor Relations” exhibition.

Bogna Świątkowska is the instigator, founder and president of the Bęc Zmiana Foundation. With it, she has carried out several dozen projects devoted to public space, architecture and design, as well as competitions addressed to young architects and designers. She is also the initiator and publisher of a national socio-cultural magazine “Notes.na.6.tygodni.” She was the editor-in-chief of Poland’s first pop culture magazine “Machina” (1998-2001), author of texts, interviews, reportages, and radio and TV programmes about contemporary pop culture. She is a member of the Warsaw Architecture and Public Space Board and the Urban Cultural Policies Team at the National Culture Centre.

„Labor Relations”: the first presentation of the international collection of contemporary art that has been built up at Wrocław Contemporary Museum since 2011. The exhibition addresses the issue of today’s “labor relations”. The phrase refers to the relations between the employer and the employee whose current dynamics is determined by the very same processes that influence the global markets: colonialism, industrialisation and capitalism. They also shape the political landscape, migrant destinations, and the state of the body and the mind.
