On the first post-holiday meeting of the “On the Agenda…” series, Adam Włodarczyk – a student of Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts – will talk about recycling in contemporary, widely understood, design. He will show various examples of the designers’ works that are based on the recycled materials and will describe the general rule of designing practical forms and the place of recycling in the process of designing.

The lecturer will also try to look more critically at the mere idea of recycled design, he will talk over not only about the advantages but also at the disadvantages that emerge from this kind of designing. The presentation will show to the audience the issues of the sphere of designing items of everyday use and will be also the opportunity to present the author’s own experience.
