The presentation will be centred around the role played by the audience during the football
show. First, a geographical classification of this phenomenon will be made; we will closely
look at South America, Italy, the Balkans, Germany, France and Poland, that can be perceived
as a group of colourful, theatrical rows of seats, whilst England and Spain are in opposition
to this form of supporting. During the lecture the ways of exhibiting the, so called, football
matches “settings” will be discussed. We will learn what these “settings” are, and how they
should be understood: a new naive painting? Street art? Or maybe a form of a show that is
closest to the stylistic known from the totalitarian countries?
