We are increasingly rarely present in just one place. In everyday situations, we simultaneously take part in conversations, browse images from the other side of the world, return to stored memories, or project our thoughts into the future. Attention does not move linearly; it shifts between different orders, connects experiences, and condenses the present with parallel events.
We are interested in the moment when different layers begin to permeate one another and lose their clear boundaries. Memory shapes how we see; an image can feel as real as an experience, while something distant can feel closer than what is right beside us.
The contemporary world appears as a configuration of overlapping perspectives and histories that cannot be reduced to a single narrative. Reality takes shape within a field in which hierarchy is suspended and its elements coexist on equal terms. Multiplicity is not a collection, but a field in which meanings remain unstable and resist closure or ordering.
