Art. Energy. Sustainability | Marco Angelini

17.04 – 17.08.2026
[ LEVEL 4 MWW ]

The exhibition Art. Energy. Sustainability by Marco Angelini at the Wrocław Contemporary Museum is a reflection on the relationship between humans, technology, and nature in a world of dynamic civilizational transformations. The point of reference is the concept of Homo Faber, described by Hannah Arendt in The Human Condition (1958) – a human being who shapes reality through work, invention, and technology, while simultaneously facing the consequences of their own actions.

In his work, the artist explores civilizational transformations that are occurring against the backdrop of dynamic technological progress and in the context of the need for sustainable development. Using a variety of media, including video art, painting, and installations, he explores the relationship between humans, their work, and technology, presenting art as a tool for transforming our perception of the world.

The exhibition combines technology, ecology, art, and urban space, introducing viewers to a world rife with tensions between nature and technology, development and its consequences. It is a reflection on how individuals and art can influence a changing world, how technology can coexist with nature, and how art can become a bridge to understanding the complex relationship between humans, their creativity, and the surrounding environment.
