FAMILY OUTDOOR GAME
During the family outdoor game, participants will encounter numerous clues and puzzles scattered both around and inside the MuseumFor a moment, we’ll become explorers, artists, clue-hunters, and art historians, ready to take on any challenge.The prepared tasks will introduce participants to the history of many works from the Museum’s collection, including those not currently on display.
The route will surprise even regular visitors, encouraging them to view the bunker from a completely different perspective and to observe their surroundings closely. As they solve each puzzle, participants will uncover the stories hidden behind the artworks, learn about the history of the Museum’s collection, and seek answers to the question of what our Museum might look like in the future. We’ll also discover just how much surprising information can be found in the nature that surrounds us, hidden in places that are easy to overlook in everyday life. The game is designed for groups of all ages – come join the fun!
CATERING
Decay is not an end, but the beginning of a new life. Wood, which may appear to fall silent, becomes a refuge for insects, a home for fungi and mosses, and a living tissue that sustains other forms of life. We want to invite participants to a table that will tell the story of this very quiet continuity.
A fragment of a tree will become the central element of the space – not as a lifeless object, but as a witness to transience and rebirth. In its presence, we want to tell a story about how beauty can be found in change, and how caring for nature begins with paying mindful attention to processes that often remain invisible in our daily lives.
The plates will feature the flavours of early September – seasonal vegetables and fruits,, harvested at the peak of their abundance. Edible flowerswhich often grow right beside us – in urban allotment and community gardens, or in inconspicuous corners of the city – will be a key element. We want to remind everyone that the urban fabric, too, can bloom and nourish us, if only we let it live.
A natural complement to this story will be honey from local beekeepers – a symbol of the work of pollinators, without whom it is hard to imagine a bountiful September harvest. It will be more than an ingredient in the dishes; it will also serve as a quiet reminder of the invisible co-creators of our landscape and daily sustenance.
The whole project is an invitation to a shared table,where food becomes a story of coexistence – between people, plants, insects, and trees. It is also a story about a world in which even what falls apart remains necessary.
SOUNDS
Papa Natural and Benel have been gravitating towards music with edge and groove for years. They’re fans of experimental trips. They play together in the band Jaman. Strip them away from the rest of the instruments, and what you’re left with is bass waves, electronics, dub, processed vocals, and something else for which there isn’t yet a Polish word. They are part of the Klub Szalonych collective and the bands Sneaky Jesus, Ślina, Torteks, Wrocławska Orkiestra Improwizowana and many others.
For MWW’s birthday, Papa Natural and Benel bueno duo plan to hit two sensitive spots: the one that makes kids dance on their own, and the one that makes adults think too much.
BOTANIC SET (DJ Kinia)
The outdoor DJ set will be a seamless mix of upbeat electronic music, catchy funk rhythms, and Balearic sounds. Organic and botanical compositions – characteristic of the Etnobotanika project – will serve as its main point of reference. The combination of nature, soft basslines, and sun-soaked harmonies will create a spatial narrative exploring the relationship between humans and the ecosystem. The musical selection will offer an original take on contemporary alternative music, bringing together global sounds and local stories in the spirit of Młyn and Sneaky JesusThe mix will break down generational barriers, inviting everyone to dance together amid the city’s greenery.
BIOS
MAGNOLIE STUDIO – Our culinary and artistic practice focuses on food, but not merely as an act of consumption. For us, food is first and foremost a creative process and a medium through which we foster connections between people, create stories about places and events, and engage participants in deeper sensory experiences.
We believe that food can become a form of art, a means of fostering relationships and telling stories about places and people. Creativity rooted in locality, closeness, and direct contact is very important to us. Collaboratively developed concepts, experiments with food and its presentation, as well as scenographic and performative elements, come together to create a holistic experience that engages all the senses.
Each of our projects begins with a collaboratively developed concept in which food serves as a medium of communication – telling stories about places, events, and people. Set design, engagement with the local community, and interactivity are integral elements of our work. The creative process thus becomes not only an art form but also a social experience in which food takes on a new and deeper dimension.
Beniamin Benel Łasiewicki a graduate of nothing, associated with Klub Szalonych and Wrocław’s underground scene. Primarily a bassist. He is a founding member of bands including Sneaky Jesus and Jaman. In music, he favours a “straightforward”, down-to-earth approach.
Filip Zakrzewski guitarist, instrumentalist, sound engineer, promoter, and organiser of the underground music scene. He primarily works in the genres of improvised music, funk, ambient, hip-hop, and psych-rock.
Kinga Gralak illustrator, graphic designer, and visual artist, born in Częstochowa and based in Wrocław. She works primarily for the cultural sector, creating visual identities for exhibitions and set designs for cultural institutions. She is a co-founder of Galeria Serwis – a grassroots exhibition initiative in the Nadodrze neighbourhood – and Wrocław Off Gallery Weekend. She occasionally performs as a DJ under the stage name Kinia.
